Columns can be used to arrange content the way you want. In this case, I could organise the page so that there is a description of a file on the left, with the actual file on the right.
Below, I've also put a photo gallery, using Weebly's built in tools. |

EMBEDDING MULTIMEDIA CONTENT
Including a range of rich multimedia resources will help your site stand out and communicate effectively with your audience. Virtually any web content can be added to the site by inserting an 'embed code'.

CUSTOM GOOGLE MAPS

You've probably all used Google Maps before but you might not know about the ability to create your own custom map.
This could be a great way to show an overview of a large area or movement of populations. Check out this tutorial: Custom Google Maps Tutorial Or you may find this one a bit clearer: A Short Guide to Google Maps for Educators |
THINGLINK
Thinglink is a way to link extra information into images. It's a bit like Custom Google Maps, but the benefit is that you can use any image! So, you could add details to an image of a map, but you could also take a photo of a site, then provide extra details about the features of the photo.

TIMELINE JS
|
This is a very interesting looking web app that I've just stumbled across. As you can see from the example on the left, it allows you to make very slick looking timelines that draw on a range of media sources. It seems easy to use as you can import your timeline from a spreadsheet.

MEOGRAPH
Meograph is described as a tool to create 'four dimension storytelling'. It allows you to tell stories that move across time and space, by moving through a map. At each point on the map, you can embed a range of content.
The teacher who made this example also wrote a guide on how to use it: CLICK HERE. Create an account here: http://www.meograph.com |
